Titanium Grey is an incredibly versatile colour that that mixes beautifully with other watercolours. Useful for muting other colours and for mixing an enormous range of interesting, and complex hues. Use it in landscape paintings for bark, fence posts, and stones, or for urban sketching, architectural studies, not to mention the multitude of applications it lends itself to in wildlife paintings.
Artist Notes: Applied in layered washes, Titanium Grey is useful for creating a range of rainy day atmospheric effects.
Paint Maker’s Notes: Titanium was discovered in 1791 and was named after the Titans of Greek mythology.
