Hansa Yellow Light is a bright oool yellow that is invaluable for colour mixing and glazing applications. This refreshing lemon colour is a wonderful choice when transparency is desired and is a favourite choice among watercolour artists for the cool yellow on a palette. Hansa Yellow Light is brighter than Nickel Titanium Yellow, and has a hint of green when compared to yellows such as Aureolin or Hansa Yellow.

Artist Notes: Combine Hansa Yellow Light with Cobalt Aquamarine for vibrant, tropical greens.

Paint Maker’s Notes: Discovered by German chemists in 1909, arylide pigments, which include the Hansa Yellow family, were originally developed for inks, but quickly became popular with artists.
